The situation in the Latvian rural schools helped the founders of the foundation define the goal to which the foundation targets its activities – to grant scholarships to those secondary school graduates from rural areas, whose family material circumstances prevent them from continuing the studies in a university. Fund scholarships are granted to those who have good grades in their reports (average marks of 7 or higher), have succeeded in academic contests and who come from low-income families.
